Veracend

Your data

You hold the keys.

Most store tools ask for your logins. Veracend doesn’t. You choose what to share, you apply every fix, and nothing in your store or ad accounts changes unless you do it.

What we read

For a store audit we load only the pages any shopper can see: your product list, homepage, a product page and your policy pages.

If a store is password-protected or blocks automated visitors, we stop. No report, no guessing, and we never get around it.

Files you upload

  • You download them yourself from Shopify, WooCommerce, Meta, Google or TikTok. We never connect to those accounts.
  • Read once, never saved. Each file is read in memory to build your report, then discarded.
  • No customer details kept. Your report holds totals, dates, order numbers and product names, never your customers’ names or email addresses.
  • Deleted after 30 days. The finished report sits at a private link, then is deleted automatically.

Files we give you

A paid full audit can include fix files: changes written for you, in the import format of Shopify or your ad platform.

  • Plain text, nothing that runs. No macros, links or code, and checked to be safe to open in Excel.
  • Every change shown first. You see each row on the page before you download, and you can copy and paste instead.
  • Only what needs changing. Just the columns being fixed, so nothing else on a product or campaign can be wiped.
  • You import it. On the platform’s own import screen, with its own preview, after you back up. New campaigns are always paused and budgets are never raised.

The Shopify app

You approve its permissions on Shopify’s own screen, and you can remove them by uninstalling.

  • Orders: to count your real sales. Read when you use the app, never stored, and no customer names, emails or addresses.
  • Theme: to find tracking code that fires twice. Read only.
  • Products: to apply the fixes you tick and confirm. The old version is kept, so you can undo each one.
  • Uninstall and the access is deleted; when Shopify asks us to erase your shop’s data, we delete everything.

What Veracend never does.

  • Ask for your Shopify, WordPress, Meta or Google password
  • Connect to your ad accounts or change a campaign
  • Email you a file or a login link you didn’t ask for
  • Change your tracking, checkout, prices or shipping
  • Keep the files you upload
  • Sell or share your store data

Check any fix file yourself.

You don’t have to take our word for it. A CSV is plain text, so you can read every line before it goes near your store.

  1. Open it in Notepad (Windows) or TextEdit (Mac): you’ll see plain words, nothing else.
  2. Count the rows: they match the number of changes shown on your fix page.
  3. Back up first: export your products or campaigns from the platform.
  4. Import it on the platform’s own screen and read its preview before you confirm.
