Getting started

What does Veracend do?

It checks your online store and your sales and ad data, and shows what’s really happening: which orders are real, where shoppers drop off, what Meta over-reports, and what to fix first.

Is the store audit really free?

Yes. Paste your store address and get a report in about 30 seconds. No account, no card, no login to your store.

Do you need my Shopify or Facebook login?

No. The store audit only reads public pages. For the full audit you download the reports yourself and upload the files.

Which platforms work?

Shopify gets every check. WooCommerce gets the full audit and Growth using Google Analytics. Wix, Squarespace, BigCommerce and others get a lighter check; the Platforms page shows exactly what.

How long does it take?

The store audit takes under a minute. The full audit is ready as soon as your files upload. Growth takes a minute or two more while it checks live market data.

Accuracy

What does “no made-up numbers” mean?

Every figure comes from your own files, your public store pages or public market data, and the report says which. Nothing is estimated in its place, and we never predict sales.

What counts as a real order?

Orders from real customers. Your own test orders, test payment gateways, cancelled, fully refunded and zero-value orders are left out, and the report lists each one it excluded.

Why are Meta’s numbers different from Shopify’s?

Meta counts events its pixel thinks happened, including people it models rather than sees. Shopify counts what happened in your store. Veracend puts them side by side for the same days.

Where does the market data come from?

Google search interest from Google Trends, and Amazon’s public “bought in past month” badges, via SerpApi. States too small for Google’s index to be reliable are left out.

Can it predict my next winning product?

Nobody honestly can. It shows products with real, measurable demand that are worth a small test, with the numbers behind each one. Searches for other brands are left out.

Your data

What happens to my files?

They’re read once to build the report, then discarded. Only the finished report is kept, at a private link, and it’s deleted after 30 days.

Do you see my customers’ details?

Reports don’t keep customer names or email addresses. Order numbers, dates, totals and countries are used to work out which orders are real.

Can I delete my report sooner?

Yes. Email us your report link and we’ll delete it straight away.

Payments and refunds

How much does it cost?

The store audit is free. The full audit is $29, Audit + Growth is $49, and Monitor is $19 a month. Prices are in US dollars; your bank may add a conversion fee.

Can I get a refund?

Reports are delivered straight away, so the 14-day right to cancel ends once yours is unlocked. If a report is faulty, for example it couldn’t read your files or misstates your data, email us within 30 days and we’ll fix it or refund you.

Do I get a receipt?

Yes. Stripe emails a receipt for every payment.

Is my card safe?

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Monitor

What does Monitor do?

It re-checks your store every week and emails you when your score drops, a new problem appears or a product you advertise sells out. It also reminds you monthly to run a progress check.

How do I cancel?

Open your Monitor page and choose “Manage or cancel”. It stops at the end of the month you’ve paid for and you won’t be charged again.

Can it show if my changes worked?

Yes, with real numbers rather than predictions. A free store re-check shows what changed. The full audit includes 3 progress checks: upload new exports and compare them with your first report.

Anything else

Is this financial advice?

No. It’s an analysis of your own store data with practical suggestions. You decide what to change.

Are you connected to Shopify, Meta or Google?

No. Veracend is independent and isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by Shopify, WooCommerce, Meta, Google or Amazon.
